    A hollistic approach to the shopfloor and the organization of the machine environment leads to a wider understanding of the term WOP: the aim is a far-reaching manufacturing support on the shop floor beyond mere programming. The WOP Centre Berlin is a transfer place for users and system vendors. Innovative developments are initiated here, and interfaces are created for the better integration of individual components into overall shop floor solutions.

    Der ganzheitlichen Betrachtung der Werkstatt und der Maschinenumfeldorganisation führt zu einem erweiterten Verständnis des Begriffs WOP. Über die Programmierung hinaus soll in der Werkstatt eine weitgehende Produktionsunterstützung geschaffen werden. Das WOP-Zentrum Berlin versteht sich als Transferstelle für Anwender und Systemanbieter. Hier werden innovative Entwicklungen initiiert und Schnittstellen zur besseren Einbindung einzelner Komponenten in integrationsfähige Werkstattlösungen geschaffen.
