    This study aims to identify the trend of improvement tools usage based on the worldwide survey conducted by Global Benchmarking Networks and to clarify the critical success factors for implementing an effective benchmarking project. The detail research objectives are listed as follows: Demonstrate the current status of business improvement tool use worldwide based on the survey data conducted by Global Benchmarking Network. Identify the causes of improvement tool usage preference and the possible promotion potentials of improvement tools. Analyze successful models of Benchmarking projects to locate the critical success factors for a successful Benchmarking project that brings most benefit.
