    The planning of automated assembly processes can be made more effective by using process models. An approach for an analytic process model for force- guided pressing of elastic materials is presented and improved by experimental research. The advantages of a force-guided assembly are shown in an exemplary way by means of the assembly of assembly of cooling-water tubes for car engines.

    Legal impositions on the recovery of technical goods are increasing the pressure for innovative manufacturem to conceive products and processes with regard to pair, or conversion presuppose a non- destruktive separation of components. In the future, disassembly will become a major task for research. In a disassembly/assembly cell, gears, shafts and friction bearings belonging to different series of transmissions are exchanged automatically. The article describes the expene obtained from the use of different consumable stores and various separating methods.

    An der Schnittstelle zu Entwicklung und Vertrieb wird die Montage als letzte Stufe des Herstellungsprozesses zum logistischen Orientierungspunkt des Fabrikbetriebes. In der Montage erfolgt eine technologie- und ablaufbezogene Koordination der produktiven Faktoren. Technologisch erweist sich in der Montage die Funktionsfähigkeit der Produkte. Organisatorisch erweist sich in der Montage die Elastizität der Produktion gegenüber Nachfrageschwankungen am Markt. Just-In-Time Produktion heißt bei wirtschaftlicher montagegerechter Produktstruktur Just-In-Time Montage. Die Bewältigung rasch wechselnder Anforderungen durch qualifizierte Mitarbeiter wird zum entscheidenden Faktor der Wettbewerbsfähigkeit. In der montagegerechten Produktgestaltung und Betriebsmittelplanung liegen große Rationalisierungspotentiale. Anwender berichten über konkrete Erfahrungen bei der technischen und organisatorischen Neustrukturierung ihrer Montage. Hersteller von Systemen und Komponenten erläutern Möglichkeiten un d Grenzen innovativer Montagekonzepte am Beispiel ihrer Kundenprojekte. Chancen und Risiken für die Arbeit an Montagesystemen, Organisation und Qualifizierung für eine wettbewerbsfähige Montagetechnik bilden einen weiteren Tagungsschwerpunkt. Die Tagung wendet sich an Fachleute aus Produktion und Entwicklung, die sich über - neue Montagekonzepte, - montagegerechte Produktgestaltung, - Qualifizierung für die Montage, sowie - Organisation und Logistik der Montage informieren wollen.
