A process model for elastomer-metal-pressfits

1995 , Neu, S. , Seliger, G.

This paper descibes an analytical and numerical process model for elastomer-metal-pressfits. Based on the mathematical description of the fitting process, methods and experiments to identify the values of the process parameters, is checked by statistical comparison. In addition to analytical process formulation, numerical methods like Boundary Element Methods are used. Sliding friction values of a number of elastomer-metal-pressfits are examined experimentally. The results of the examination of ail parameters and the applicability of the model are discussed by an elastomer-metal absorbing spring.

Robotergeführte Demontage und Montage von Kleingetrieben für die Austauschfertigung

1993 , Seliger, G. , Heinemeier, H.-J. , Neu, S.

Legal impositions on the recovery of technical goods are increasing the pressure for innovative manufacturem to conceive products and processes with regard to pair, or conversion presuppose a non- destruktive separation of components. In the future, disassembly will become a major task for research. In a disassembly/assembly cell, gears, shafts and friction bearings belonging to different series of transmissions are exchanged automatically. The article describes the expene obtained from the use of different consumable stores and various separating methods.

Automatisiertes Längspressen von Gummi-Metall-Verbindungen

1993 , Seliger, G. , Gutsche, C. , Neu, S.

For the longitudinal pressing of rubber-to-metal compounds no research has been carried out so far which would permit to make statements on the configuration of components to be joined, the behavior of materials and the choice of process parameters. A specifically developed automated press is used to carry out investigations on the quantification of process parameters, whose results are discussed here at the example of a rubber-metal damping element. It can to proved that, diverging from metal-go-metal compression joints, there is a significant relation between the pressing speed and power for rubber-to- metal joints.

Montageprogramme mit Datenbank und Sensorunterstützung erstellen

1992 , Heinemeier, H.-J. , Neu, S. , Seliger, G.

The generation of robot programs for the automated assembly can be supported with planning information from data bases. Robot coordinates created by off-line programming cannot be applied without on-line adaptation according to the accuracy requirements. Manual teaching is tedious and time consuming. Vision systems enable the determination of the real position and orientation of equipment and thus the automated adaptation of assembly programs.

Kraftgeregeltes Pressen mit Industrieroboter

1993 , Seliger, G. , Heinemeier, J.-J. , Neu, S.

The planning of automated assembly processes can be made more effective by using process models. An approach for an analytic process model for force- guided pressing of elastic materials is presented and improved by experimental research. The advantages of a force-guided assembly are shown in an exemplary way by means of the assembly of assembly of cooling-water tubes for car engines.
