    Customer orientation, customer enthusiasm, shorter product life cycles and more complex products require a higher interest in competive product development processes. Frequently, it is important, that customer needs are the basis of all decisions made within these processes. The following remarks, describe Quality Function Deployment (QFD), a technique of high ongoing interest. QFD enables to establish a link between customer utilities and product design features.
