    Within a cooperation-program of Indonesia and Germany, the IPK-Berlin will help to set up a laboratory for machine tools, automation and production technology in Indonesia. The laboratory, called MEPPO, will be set up in Bandung, where the famous Institute of Technology is located. According to the German model of the production technology centre in Berlin, there will be a close relationship of applied research at MEPPO with basic research at the university.
