Therefore, Al2O3 powders of different particle size and modification were impregnated by different iron precursors under a variation of impregnation conditions. The supported iron catalysts were tested regarding conversion and selectivity. Conclusions are drawn on appropriate catalyst-support interactions by the choice of support and precursor materials as well as on optimized impregnation and Fischer-Tropsch synthesis conditions.
