MIEC hollow-fibre membranes can be easily manufactured and scaled up using wet spinning. Such membranes have a very high oxygen permeance due to their thin walls and high specific surface area. These membranes can be used in a plasma membrane reactor to separate oxygen after splitting of CO2 into CO and O2, thereby avoiding a back reaction to CO2.en660666610620MIEC Hollow-Fibre Membranes in a Plasma Membrane Reactorjournal article
