Our approach captures 3D stereo images from a microscope (on a "mobile" training station) and renders them comfortably in Augmented Reality (AR) glasses (Hololens 2). Finally, our approach makes the first step to allow “certified” soldering training over distance, but still raises the need for more technical test and user evaluations.enfalse3D virtual environmentsEducationImmersive and interactive multimedia systemsSocial XRSolderingStereo 3DThe Stereo Microscope: Stereo 3D images for complex remote soldering teachingconference paper
