Within the scope of the European project "DAPhNE", Fraunhofer IPA enables eco-efficient design with a new integrated system for the simulation and management of energy-intensive production systems as well as related key performance indicators (KPIs). The approach presented in this paper is based on a holistic production model and simulation system including dynamic KPIs with the focus on environmental, operational and economic aspects. A main objective of the developed system is to support the engineering and optimization phases to develop and maintain eco-efficient production systems.enEnergieeffizienzeco-designIntegriertes ProduktionssystemProduktionsplanungProduktionsoptimierungAppFertigungSimulationKennzahlKPI-focused Simulation and Management System for Eco-Efficient Design of Energy-Intensive Production Systemsjournal article
