The rotation leads to different perspectives onto the scattering centers of the target. This causes problems if polarimetric methods should be applied to the radar image. In this paper this problem is investigated and a correction technique suitable for two-dimensional imaging is proposed. The correction mitigates the effects of a change in perspective. A comparison of radar images with and without application of the proposed methods shows the validity of the approach.en621Viewpoint correction for polarimetrie turntable inverse synthetic aperture radarconference paper
