In particular for automated cars this method is a useful and safe technique to collect data, simulate and investigate how autonomous, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven systems should be designed for optimal human-machine interaction. We present Fraunhofer's WoZ research vehicle, describe its hardware and software specifications and its potential investigation areas for human factors and AI research.
