Therefore, the ongoing ""Project to Lead Eco-Design Integration in Aerospace Development & Engineering Systems"" (PLEIADES) develops industry-focused Eco-Design tools that support real aerospace engineering workflows. The paper introduces the PLEIADES approach to support development teams in taking a combined view of engineering, environmental, and business aspects from the early design stages to subsequent phases. Moreover, the key methodologies implemented in the PLEIADES software solutions are introduced.
