This study addresses these challenges by analysing the needs for sustainable product design and lifecycles of aircraft, components, and materials, focusing on digital continuity and uniform standards. This paper presents the results of 27 qualitative expert interviews, developed roles to capture diverse perspectives and key requirements for product lifecycle management and leveraging data ecosystems. This sets the basis for implementing data ecosystems and tools like digital product passports (DPPs) to embed circular economy into lifecycle management across complex aviation products.entrueAviationCircular EconomyDigital Product PassportMaterial InformationProduct InformationIntegrating Circular Economy Practices in Aviation: Requirements Analysis for the Exchange of Material and Product Information to improve Circularity in the Aviation Industryjournal article
