By utilizing a polarimetric ISAR imaging process, the scattering centers are spatially resolved in a 2D image plane. The proposed phase drift compensation approach provides the basis for a valid analysis of scatterers. A potential vehicle self-localization relying on such landmarks will benefit from this knowledge.en621Polarimetric scattering mechanism analysis of automotive landmarksconference paper
