Legal regulations and sensory test methods are described. These relate to the chain from the production of cardboard via converting and printing to the cardboard package. As a result it is established that test methods accepted Europe-wide must be developed. The Tenax method could be a suitable test method for evaluating the total migration and also specific migrations in correlation to sensory analysis.
