The EGr samples and steel samples as reference were used as spacer in a feed axis with a linear guide and the damping behavior was investigated using FFT and SFTF. The material damping of EGr increases with increased graphite content and EGr with 20 % shows the best damping capacity as it used in the feed axis.deDämpfungEisen-Graphit-VerbundwerkstoffLinearführungPulvermetallurgieVorschubachseHochdämpfende Metall-Graphit-Verbundwerkstoffe in WerkzeugmaschinenHighly Damping Metal-graphite Composites in Machine Tools.
