Biographical Information
Simon Hort, born in 1991, studied industrial engineering with a focus on production technology at RWTH Aachen University. In his Master's degree, he studied industrial engineering at KIT in Karlsruhe with a focus on digitalisation in production.
Since 2019, he has been a research associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT, where he develops digitalisation concepts for advanced therapies. Since 2021, he has been group leader of the group Adaptive Production Control and project manager of the H2020 EU project AIDPATH, which is focused on the integration of AI-driven, automated CAR-T cell manufacturing in hospitals.
