Crucial issues in inhalation research - mechanistic, clinical and epidemiologic

Title Supplement
8th International Inhalation Symposium
Abstract
The International Inhalation Symposia, begun in 1987 and held biennially in Hannover, Germany, are sponsored by Hannover Medical School, Fraunhofer Institute of Toxicology and Aerosol Research, Drug Research and Clinical Inhalation (ITA), and the National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (as well as, until 1999, the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI)). Crucial Issues in Inhalation Research - Mechanistic, Clinical and Epidemiologic represents scientific work presented at the 8th International Inhalation Symposium, covering new developments in this field of research. This book focuses on the crucial issue of genetic bases of response and susceptibility, recent developments in asthma and other allergic diseases, as well as recent advances in understanding the effects of inhaled particles. A worldwide panel of recognized experts contributed chapters to this comprehensive exploration of the subject.
