Title

Advancements in Nondestructive Testing and Monitoring Process

Abstract
Material compounds and the use of high-strength materials, like for example PHS steel grades, are of increasing importance, because of the steadily rising relevance of resource saving lightweight constructions [1-2]. Quality assurance with appropriate Nondestructive Testing (NDT) methods is a key aspect for reliable and efficient production. Quality changes must be detected already in the manufacturing flow in order to take adequate corrective actions. To achieve an optimum material utilization and product safety as well as the best possible production efficiency, there is a need for NDT methods for in-line inspection of the quality during the process or immediately afterwards.
