Interactive mobile robot in logistics – Efficient and flexible human-robot interaction with a view to the logistics of the future Effiziente und flexible Mensch-Roboter-Interaktion für die Logistik der Zukunft: Interaktionsfähiger mobiler Roboter in der Logistik

Abstract
Interactive mobile robots allow for enhancing efficiency and ergonomics in logistics. This paper presents the development, implementation, and evaluation of an interaction system tailored to the requirements of a logistics environment. Based on a modular architecture, the robotic system combines interaction technologies with robust task management. An evaluation in the use case of storing customized items highlights the advantages of intuitive human-robot interaction and identifies potential for optimization, particularly in speech control and activity detection.
