Title

Post-Processing of Additively Manufactured Components Utilization of High-Pressure Water Jet Technology to Remove Powder Adhesions Post-Processing von additiv gefertigten Bauteilen Einsatz der Hochdruckwasserstrahltechnologie zur Entfernung von Pulveranhaftungen

Abstract
The post-processing of additively manufactured metallic components is primarily performed manually, often resulting in insufficient component quality and high cost. The development of an automated process for removing particle adhesions using continuous and pulsed pure water jets offers a solution. This article describes the suitability of the process and the influence of the acting water jet forces as a function of the relevant process parameters.
