End-to-End Polarization Error Analysis of a Terrestrial Free-Space Quantum Communication Link

Abstract
Quantum bit errors in a polarization-entanglement-based free-space quantum communication system are analyzed. Our results reveal the feasibility of static free-space entanglement distribution networks without requirement for complex active polarization control.
