Applications of quantum computing & how to connect them to the HPC software stack

Implementing applications of quantum computing leads to eventually testing the whole quantum software stack from the quantum hardware over the middlelayer up to the applications. This talk first demonstrates the lessons to be learnt from applications of quantum computing, how to realize them with the help of the quantum software stack and eventually discusses the topic of benchmarking quantum computers.
