AssureXR: Streamlining Insurance Claims through Mobile Data Capture and Interactive Web3D Documentation

Abstract
Traditional insurance claim processing for property damage often involves inefficiencies due to multiple site visits and challenges in documenting spatial context. AssureXR is an innovative end-to-end system developed in collaboration with R+V Versicherung, a major German insurer that is designed to streamline claim capturing, assessment, and settlement by leveraging mobile LiDAR scanning and Web3D technologies. The core contribution is an integrated pipeline culminating in a web-based platform.
AssureXR serves as a rich digital archive, advancing claims management through interactive web-based 3D documentation.
