Title

Electro-Optic Polarization Mode Converter on Periodically Poled Thin Film Lithium Niobate on Insulator Platform

Abstract
We report on the realization of an electro-optic polarization mode converter in periodically poled lithium-niobate-on-insulator (PP-LNOI) nanophotonic waveguides. Fast TE- and TM-mode conversions can be achieved in this 2.64-mm-long PP-LNOI with a >20-dB peak efficiency.
