Title

Modeling a Hybrid Hydrogen Microgrid in a Novel Multiphysical Energy System Simulator - MEgy

Abstract
The intermittent nature of renewable energy generators, such as wind and photovoltaic energy, necessitates the utilization of energy storage to leverage the full potential of these energy sources in achieving a successful energy transition. Simulations are an indispensable tool for analyzing the behavior of a system under different conditions and optimizing the sizing of its components. In this work, a hybrid battery and hydrogen microgrid with energy management is built in the authors own Multiphysical EnerGy sYstem simulator - MEgy. The working principle of MEgy is demonstrated on the implementation and simulation of said microgrid.
