Title

Single and Multi-mode Lasing Emission by Quasi-BIC TiO2 Metasurfaces

Abstract
On-chip single and multi-mode lasers are essential tools for a wide range of applications, including optical signal processing, wavelength multiplexing, quantum computing, and more [1]. All-dielectric metasurfaces, which support a rich variety of optical modes, serve as versatile platforms for nanoscale lasing thanks to their low absorption loss and compatibility with various gain media [2]. By tailoring the geometrical parameters of such metasurfaces, specific resonant modes can be enabled, and their spectral characteristics can be tuned.
