Title

A Low-Cost and Low-Power Solution for RF-Front-End Impedance Tuning with High-Voltage Solid-State Switches

Abstract
This article firstly describes the necessity of RF-front end impedance tuning in modern wireless communication systems. The comparison between possible solutions has been presented. The CMOS switch-based approach shows its simplicity, robustness and advantages in material cost and level of integration. A switch-based impedance tuner has been designed, fabricated and characterized as a prototype.
