Title

Challenges of future automotive electronics and solutions for the early evaluation of chiplet-based system concepts

Title Supplement
Presentation held at Design, Automation and Test in Europe, the European Event for Electronic System Design & Test, 31 March - 2 April 2025, Lyon, France
Abstract
Chiplet-based approaches to the realization of electronic systems promise a number of advantages in terms of greater flexibility, scalability and performance. Depending on the area of application, safety, security and reliability requirements must also be taken into account in addition to the function to be realized. These requirements are particularly important in the automotive sector. The major challenge is to evaluate chiplet-based system concepts at an early stage from a technical and economic perspective. The lecture presents a methodical approach in which architectures, design methods, system integration technologies and concepts for test and reliability evaluation are considered holistically.
