Probandenstudie zum Komfortempfinden bei der Überfahrt rauer Straßenoberflächen
Abstract
The roughness of road surfaces plays a central role in simulations across a wide range of applications - from vehicle and driver assistance system development to realistic driving simulations. To obtain realistic road surfaces, either expensive real-world measurements or assumption-based generations of synthetic surface profiles are required. The latter offers a more cost-effective and flexible way to acquire the necessary data but carries the risk of systematic deviations from comparable real-world roads, potentially compromising the validity and generalizablity of simulation outcomes.
