Title

Low-loss lithium niobate integrated photonic devices fabricated on wafer-scale

Abstract
Lithium niobate is a popular material in integrated photonics due to its optical and electro-optic properties. It is used in low-loss waveguides for high-speed and high integration density photonic devices. This technology enables integration of various devices on a single chip for quantum technology and telecom applications. Here, we present waveguide devices such as modulators, micro-ring resonators and frequency converters having losses below 0.05 dB/cm. The challenges of wafer-scale fabrication will be discussed.
