Entwicklung einer Mobile-App mit einem eingebetteten maschinellen Lernmodell zur Steuerung von DJI-Drohnen zur Branddetektion
Abstract
As climate change accelerates, the risk of large-scale forest fires has escalated, particularly in regions with extensive forest coverage. Traditional monitoring systems often face delays in detecting wildfires, limiting the effectiveness of preventive measures. This paper presents an AI-driven wildfire detection system integrated with DJI drones, aiming to enhance real-time fire detection and response. By leveraging a lightweight neural network model, optimized for mobile devices, the system can quickly identify wildfires and alerting users with precise location data. The proposed solution offers a practical and scalable tool for improving forest management, enabling more timely and accurate detection of fire outbreaks. The integration of AI and drone technology is positioned to fill critical gaps in existing monitoring systems, with promising applications in proactive disaster prevention and environmental protection.
