Title

5G Wound Management System for Remote Areas

Abstract
In the context of healthcare for patients suffering from cronic wounds, especially in areas located far from clinics, providing remotely assisted treatment enabled by reliable and secure connectivity through nomadic micro-networks based on technologies like 5G and beyond, could be a viable alternative to transporting the patients regularly to the clinics or even have them hospitalized for a long time in order to treat the wound. This paper analyses the needs of such a system featuring high precision 3D scanning of wound and bioprinting of a matching hydrogel patch, present the planned topology as well as the ecosystem of the solution under development together with the current evaluation framework.
