Transmission Matrix Approach to Turbulence Profiling

We consider transmission-matrix methods for the characterization of the atmosphere. First, we investigate the temporal stability of highly-transmitting modes of instantaneous realizations of atmospheric channels. Then, we discuss the real-time estimation of the transmission matrix.
