Title

Enhancing Nonlinear Effects Through Lattice Plasmon Excitation in Plasmonic Metasurfaces

Abstract
Plasmonic metasurfaces have gained significant attention in recent years due to their potential applications in areas such as biosensing, biomedical research, and photonic devices. These metasurfaces possess two main types of resonances: localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) from individual metal nanoantennas, and surface lattice resonance (SLR) arising from the periodic arrangement of the plasmonic nanoantennas [1]. The interplay between these two resonances determines the linear optical response of plasmonic metasurfaces. The strong field enhancement associated with the linear resonances has also been widely exploited to boost nonlinear effects [3].
