In the "FIHLS" joint project, building services components were researched, developed and adapted for simple integration in the insulation layer of the building envelope, especially for the renovation of residential buildings. The focus was on minimizing interventions in the building fabric. In conjunction with low-exergy systems for heat supply, this offers a useful technical option. The project therefore developed minimally invasive renovation concepts with the integration of new HVAC distribution systems in the facade, adapted radiators and also innovative decentralized home ventilation systems
