Abstract
Decentralisation and sector coupling are key elements for the energy system transformation. Thus, local heat and electricity supply concepts with a different level of coupling of the sectors were investigated. Under the objective of minimising costs, the concepts are optimised at given heuristic layout (HL) and compared to an optimisation of layout (OL), considering economic, ecological and technological criteria.
