Parametrization and Reference Wind Turbines

Dynamic models for control purposes have to satisfy a difficult balance between simplicity and accuracy. The first aspect is usually accomplished by simplifying the equations and the second one is by selecting model parameters in such a way that the simplified model fits the requirements for the control system design. Dynamic models for control are studied in the first part of the book. Hence, the current chapter is devoted to describing some strategies for achieving parametric completeness.
