Simplified optics for efficient filled-aperture coherent beam combination
Abstract
A simplification strategy for Segmented Mirror Splitters used as beam combiners is presented. Numerical methods are used to optimize design parameters and maintain a high theoretical combining efficiency for several tens of beams.
