Title

Investigations on industrial water detection on surfaces using multichannel imaging techniques

Abstract
Water detection is a constant problem in a huge variety of industrial applications. Therefore it is very important to detect smallest amounts on surfaces with a certain degree of reliability. There are several options especially in the 1450nm band, but for the most industrial applications the use of InGaAs-Sensors is very expensive. In the following paper we started investigations to realize the detection of water content down to 5ml (Diameter 35mm) particles with different approaches for industrial applications. For that reason a multispectral optical approach beginning with a basic spectrometer setup, multispectral camera up to a hyperspectral setup was investigated. Furthermore a fluorescence setup was developed and evaluated. The aim is a stable detection of the surface water with silicon based sensors.
