Title

Focused imaging by geometric optics for real-time passenger screening at sub-millimeter wave frequencies

Abstract
The beam focusing optics designed for a passenger screening system operating at 360 GHz are presented. The elevation focus is based on an elliptical mirror and a pivoting flat mirror for sampling targets at different heights. The resolution capabilities of the geometric optics are discussed theoretically and measurement results obtained by the realized system at 90 GHz are presented.
