Titel
Stability analysis of droop-control in diesel-hybrid systems
Abstract
Micro grids in remote areas, which are nowadays manly diesel driven, can have high shares of renewable energy very easily. This might lead to the necessity of the integration of grid supporting behavior to these renewable energy sources. These systems need a droop control for active and reactive power, to share them. In this paper an analysis of the stability of droop controlled inverters is shown. There are three operational cases taken into account: the grid connected operation, operation in pure inverter driven grids and in grids consisting of inverters and diesel generators.
