Performance investigation of UHF RFID tags designed for air and Rubber Belts - impact of electrical parameters and the shape of the belts

Abstract
To carry out the efficient investigation and the development of the various high performance RFID tags for the rubber transmission belts, it is important to determine the impact of diverse kinds of variations (e.g. the electrical and the geometrical) of the rubber belts on the performance of an UHF tag and the tag antenna characteristics. In this regard, the impact of different variations of the belts on the designed tag antenna are investigated in this paper with the help of a 3D electrical model of the belt and the results are presented.
