Titel
Characterization of laser structures in photovoltaic CIGS thin film systems
Abstract
In thin thin film photovoltaics laser structuring is a common method to achieve the necessary monolithical series connection between neighboring cells. P2 and P3 laser scribing has also been proven to be suitable for Cu(In, Ga)Se2 (CIGS)solar cells but it is still not used in industry. Ablation can be done utilizing an explosive lift of process by the use of lasers with nanosecond pulses. Success of this process depends on both interface properties and characteristics of the CIGS layer itself. We investigate the interface properties and composition of two groups of samples with and without a MoSe2 layer. Scribing results are compared as well.
