Kontextadaptive Gedächtnisunterstützung in Alltagssituationen

Der kontextadaptive ambiente Awareness-Assistent stellt ein System dar, das den jeweiligen Benutzer - abhängig von Altersstufe und Bedürfnissen - mittels angepasster Sensorik und Aktorik unterstützt. In der jetzigen Ausbaustufe fungiert der erste Prototyp primär als Assistenzsystem für ältere Nutzer. Mit Hilfe entsprechender Sensorik werden einzelne Aktivitäten (Handlungsabläufe) bei der täglichen Körperpflege erfasst, protokolliert und ausgewertet. Darauf basierend stellt das System kontextsensitiv Erinnerungshilfen zur Durchführung der Körperpflege bereit. Primäres Ziel dieser Entwicklung ist es, die Autonomie der Bewohner zu erhöhen und ihnen ein (längeres) selbstbestimmtes Leben in ihrer heimischen Umgebung zu ermöglichen. Dokumentation, Assistenz, Barrierefreiheit in Kombination mit Multimediafunktionen decken dabei aber nicht nur eine Vielzahl der Bedürfnisse und Anforderungen von Senioren ab, sondern adressieren auch die ganze Familie.

The ambient awareness assistant with context sensitive adaptation provides a system that supports the users with sensors and actors corresponding to their age and needs. In the current state the prototype acts as an assistive system for elderly people. Activities of the daily personal hygiene are detected, documented and interpreted with specific sensors. Based upon this the system provides context sensitive commemorations to proceed through the user's personal hygiene. The primary goal of this development is to increase the inhabitant's independence and to allow elderly people to stay longer in their own homes in a self-determined way without the need of moving into rest homes. Documentations, assistances and handicapped accessibilities combined with multimedia-based functions not only cover the needs and demands of elderly inhabitants they also provide assistance to the whole family.
