Title

The effect of thermal cyclic loading on CFRP foam core sandwich structures

Abstract
The thermomechanical effect of shock and continuous thermal cycling on laterally closed CFRP foam core sandwich components was numerically and experientally investigated. Specimens were cycled at temperatures occurring in commercial flight and mechnically tested to assess the influence of changing temperature exposure on the structural behaviour.
