Entwicklung und Optimierung von Umformfügeverfahren auf Basis der FE-Analyse

The aim of FE-Analysis of joining by forming for aluminium alloys is: understanding material flow, developing new joining variants, predicting the properties of joined assembly groups. New technologies (dieless clinching and rivetclinching) for joining brittle materials (like diecasted aluminium) are discussed. Developing hydroforming as an additional new joining variant for aluminium tubes and special problems in the process of half-tube-riveting aluminium sheets of car body are presented.
