Calculating the dynamic behavior of motor spindles
Berechnung des dynamischen Verhaltens von Motorspindeln
The dynamic behavior of motor spindles were investigated by finite element method. Various models were calculated for a real spindle unit and compared with the available measurements. The results shows that it is not possible to consider all the relevant influencing variables by using only bar and/or plane elements. An overview of the influences of different variables to the dynamic behavior and the calculation time is given.
