Bringing museums to the web. An architecture for a virtual exhibition

In a joint project with the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering ISST, the German Historical Museum in Berlin and the Haus der Geschichte of the Federal Republic of Germany in Bonn are developing a virtual exhibition of German history for the Internet. This paper deals with the Internet technologies (VRML, HTML, streaming video, Web camera)and the architecture used in the LeMO project.
